All my internal links show up as 403 forbidden links.

It seems the service is getting blocked somehow.

Also we have a multisite, links all around and use cloudflare

Is there any way to fix this? We want to use this on all our websites.

    Thank you

  • Hello @cosmedia !

Hope you’re having a good day and sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue!

It looks like you’re correct on the diagnosis here – 403 means that something has blocked the request to check. I think it’s not CloudFlare but something on the server, but let’s cover everything here.

In CloudFlare please visit the dashboard for the site/domain, then go to Security >> WAF and add a rule to exclude the server’s IP. It should say something like:

Hostname contains yourdomain.com, Then action: Allow.

This is so the CloudFlare firewall lets requests from the site itself to the site through.

If this doesn’t help, then checking with the hosting will be a good next step – verifying if there’s a firewall that may be blocking such requests and excluding the site’s IP address or domain from that firewall for example. This can be done in the hosting’s administration panel or by contacting the hosting support – they will be able to check the logs and see what exactly is causing the requests to be blocked.

    Warm regards,
