    Hi @cschultzie3,

No, as long as you’re using a version >4.2.9 you won’t be opening yourself up to the threat as the rule is there to protect the versions from before the fix. The plugin itself will now be patched.

I believe the rule should be bypassed if the plugin is up-to-date, although sometimes there can be discrepancies between off-repository versions if the plugin developer uses different version numbers (but the same slug) for their free and paid offerings. Are you using the PRO version or just v4.7.6 of the free version? If you are using the PRO version, which version does WordPress say you are using?

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Thanks Peter. Just the free version.

Thank-you for letting us know @cschultzie3 – I ran a test with 4.7.6 installed and am not seeing any notices for that version now but you should still be fine with the 4.2.9 rule disabled.

    Peter.
