All in One SEO NOT paying attention to Meta Description ?

  • Can somebody give me a hand with this please.

    Here’s an article on our blog:

    https://www.brinkzone.com/blog/functional-fitness-day-for-the-female-athlete/

    In all in one SEO, we have the meta description set as this:

    Functional Fitness Training Day for Female Athletes

    However if I do a search in Google for the article using a long text string from the article such as;

    I am putting together a functional fitness day

    Then it appears fine but the description Google is showing in it’s search results is NOT the all in ONE SEO meta description tag . Google just seems to be reading in some text from the page and using that as the description.

    Is this wrong , should it not show the meta description on Google ?
