• Hi folks.

Just recently I’ve noticed my AIO plugin is no longer working on my website, seems like this may have happened within the week. Everything seems fine in the wp admin, and I can input and save info as I normally would, but when I go onto the page itself or search for it via google, none of the page titles or descriptions are showing. No other plugins have been added, plus the ones I do have running have been running alongside AIO with no issues previous to this. The only thing that’s been updated was WP itself to 4.2.2 when that came out, but no other problems to report from that update. Anyone else had this problem, or any tips? Any help would be hugely appreciated!

    Many thanks,
    Darren

Just a small update. I’ve tried two different plugins, Yoast and the plugin that comes with prophoto and both of them work. So could we assume the problem is with AIO and it’s compatibility with the latest WP?

You are using a theme called ProPhoto. That theme has it’s own SEO and uses Output Buffering to overwrite the Title tag that All in One SEO Pack outputs. The theme developer knows about this issue and he added a setting in his theme to disable his SEO so you can use All in One SEO Pack. It appears that this may be broken or no longer working. You must contact the theme developer for help with this, he should be aware of the problem because lots of other users of this theme have reported the exact same problem in the past week.

Hi there, thanks so much for your reply, I really appreciate it! I take it there’s no way I could try and fix it myself? Noticed my website has gone right down in the google rankings and worried this will affect my business. It’s taken so long for the site to get where it was ??

There is a setting in ProPhoto where you can disable their SEO. I don’t know where it is but you should be able to find it. This is a ProPhoto theme issue and the developer is aware.

I’ve had that disabled for a while now. Hopefully they get it sorted soon, as from what i’ve read online this doesn’t seem to have just happened in the last few days.

I know the developer fixed this because we discussed it with him and provided some code support. I also know that we’ve received lots of reports from users of our plugin in the past week of this issue and the symptoms and cause have all been the same. I’ve contacted the developer of the ProPhoto theme about this so he can look into it, he’s very responsive and has a great theme so I’m sure he’ll be troubleshoot this and fix any issue.
