  • Hi @wotnow,

The error message refers to a PHP extension that must be enabled on your host’s end. I would recommend contacting your host to upgrade PHP, or check your hosting control panel in case you have the option to upgrade or switch your version of PHP manually.

Then, try editing an event in the Admin area again.

What version php should it be? It’s set to 5.6 n why won’t race 9 display? Thanks

Hi .. site is live and event calendar not working correctly and racing season starting soon ..
I have written to my systems engineers and they have added the two extensions but error still remains.
They have created a test file to show you and have asked me to refer back to you for further information.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @wotnow,

Although PHP 5.6 is still supported, the latest version of PHP is 7.2. If the calendar is still not functioning correctly, you should have an option to switch up to any newer version — most hosting providers have an option to switch between versions on the fly.

Hi site has been upgraded to PHP 7, the above errors remain despite systems engineers adding the two extensions. I cant get calendar to move from April and even when I could it would not display race 9 which was within the August date range.

Site is live and being used by many punters to see upcoming events.

Can you please help Urgently, thanks

    Hi @wotnow,

Hi Thanks for getting back to me .. I tried a different browser, cleared my cache,
and the two error messages in the admin remain. Also race nine does not display and when I upload a featured image to an event and click update .. I get the following error message .. The link you followed has expired. Please try again.

I tried updating the event in both firefox 59.0.2 and safari Version 11.1. I am using Mac High Sierra, version 10.13.4 .. all latest versions.

Also tried Google Chrome Version 66.0.3359.117 which also shows the error messages and when uploading the featured image I get the white screen of death.

Is there a way I can show you screenshots?

Actually just redid the google chrome and its behaviour is the same, .. the link you followed has expired.
