I have the same problem on WordPress 4.6 for:
All-in-One Event Calendar Extended Views V.1.2.6
All-in-One Event Calendar Frontend Submissions V.1.2.4

It is not possible to automatically update the addon in the admin panel, please download the addon here: https://time.ly/wordpress-calendar-plugin/addons/extended-views-2/, uninstall the older version and install the latest.

Has this been sorted in this update, or is this something the team are going to sort in future?

We are planning some changes, but for now I have no more information about it.
