Okay, so I went digging around and found the css class selectors that apply to the pop-ups…

    .popover
    .popover-inner
    .popover-title
    .popover-content

    …located in wp-content< themes-ailec< vortex< less< popovers.less. I then found where these class selectors were used in wp-content< themes-ailec< vortex< agenda-widget.php. I deleted the code enclosed with “<!– .ai1ec-popup –>”!

Honestly, I feel silly now for having asked the question, but thought I would provide my solution before I marked the thread “resolved.”
