all-in-one calendar plugin conflicts with slideshow – help!

After looking at many calendar and event plug-ins, we chose yours as it completely fits our requirement – we love the styling.Unfortunately, since installing it, I cannot get our slideshow to work. I’ve tried two other highly rated slide shows and none show up. I’ve done some research and think the problem is caused by some code stripped out of our customised theme. I temporarily switched themes to TwentyThirteen and all worked fine.
Can you have a look/give me any advice here – I am not a developer but can follow decent instructions ??
