Hi have been try to improve the seo of my page with all in on seo but have been having this image alt text problem on on my pages.

I am using divi theme builder and each time I check in all in one seo to see if my seo is correct I see this notification regarding the image alt text:

    • Focus keyphrase in image alt attributesFocus keyphrase not found in image alt attribute(s). Add an image with your Focus keyphrase as alt text.

I came here and read all the forum posts I could find and did the following:

I have put the alt text in the media library image and exactly as my key word.

I have put the alt text in the image module advanced attribute exactly as the key word.

Still I am encountering this problem on all my pages?

Any clues on how I can solve it? Thanks.

    Hi @vellj001,

In checking your page source code, there are 12 images missing alt text.
You can check this by right-clicking on the page and selecting – View page source.

Then activate the Find Bar option in Chrome using Ctrl + f or F3.

Enter alt=”” in the search box to find the images missing alt text.

If you’re using image optimization or Lazy loading, it may affect the alt text output.

Please let me know what you find.

    Thanks!

    Hi thanks for replying,

I inspected the code and found 9 alt text images in there. However as I read in previous articles I tried to at least make one image module to be sure that AINSEO detects it. Still it did not. I am attaching a screen shot that shows the image and the code at the same time. As I highlighted the image should be alt texted. But still it is not being detected by AINSEO.

I am using an image optimizer shortpixel.

At this point I do not know what can be done I am no code expert.

    Hi @vellj001,

Thank you for sharing that information.

Could you tell me if you’re using the All in One SEO analysis within Divi?
    https://aioseo.com/docs/page-builder-integrations/#divi

    That should work for you.

Please let me know what you find.

    Thanks!

    Hi @vellj001,

We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of days. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

Hi, I have the same problem with divi. This is mi site disversa.com

I recently changed the template to DIVI, and all the alternative texts of the thumbnail images are replaced by the title of the post, it does not use the alternative text defined in the gallery only in this type of images. This doesn’t happen in the content of the post or on the pages. It is only with featured images. I tried everything and can’t find a solution. Do you have any ideas? My client need a answer for this, because the accessibility is priority.

    Regards

    Hi @consuelo-correa,

Thanks for the follow-up. The alt text being used for your images is controlled by Divi or your gallery plugin.

Our Lite/Free plugin doesn’t include a feature to control the alt text in the images.

Our TruSEO page analysis will check your image alt text based on your SEO settings on the page.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
