  • This error also happened to us, You must re-embed every image. Not sure why it happened. This error probably from the server itself.

    Hi folks,

So I first encountered the issue a week ago, and having not received any response after submitting the contact us form, decided to replace all my Getty embedded images.

And things were fine for a few days, until now. Every Getty embedded image replaced by invalid URL again.

Appreciate if anyone has any insight/solution. Cheers.

    Hi all,
We recently made a change to Embed that resulted in the “Invalid URL” message on all images embedded before the update. This issue was out for apx 5 days. We resolved the problem impacting previously created Embeds two days ago so you should be seeing your older Embeds again. Unfortunately, resolving the issue for the older embeds broke any Embedded images generated during that 5 period. We are currently unable to solve for both problems but feel supporting older Embeds is the priority and has lower impact.

If you have any embeds showing an “Invalid URL” message still they were likely generated in that 5 day period and will need to be regenerated to use the correct URLs.

Sorry for the confusion and extra work this has caused. Please reach out if you have more questions.

Still not seeing older imbeds. Examples here. Nothing but “Invalid URL” messages all over the place. Please advise.

Of course, after submitting the previous update, I now am seeing the embedded images. ??

    Marking “resolved.”

Aaaaaand now all my images are gone yet again. This is, like, the third or fourth time this has happened since I started using this plugin. I appreciate the service, but, like, this is embarrassing for me as a site owner, and I would think it has to be embarrassing for whomever provides this service. What’s the deal?

I am having the same problem as jonzal as of this morning (12/1/2019).
All of a sudden, every image on my site has been replaced by the “Image not found” message.
Second time this has happened in five weeks.
Do I replace all the images or is there a fix in progress?
    Thanks

I’m having the same issue. Seeing “Image not found” on all my embeds. Also not able to get code from Getty website all day. I just see an empty box after I select a photo a click the embed button. Maybe a problem on Getty’s end.
