All Images Pixelated and Restore Original Doesn’t Fix it

Today, I have been trying to get this Imagify plugin to work. I purchased the 3GB one-time option. I ran about 20% of my images through “Aggressive” and was very disappointed with the results. The images looked like they were exported with quality level 20 or less from Photoshop. So, I scaled it back and ran the next 15% of images through “Normal” and still it looks just as choppy and pixelated (i.e. extremely over-compressed). So, I tried to “Restore Original” on many images but that doesn’t do anything. The images remain the same even after “Restore Original.” Also when I try to “Compare” the original with normal/aggressive with the slider, the images are exactly the same. I think there is some kind of unaddressed bug. Since I can’t get this to work I am having to delete the plugin and reupload all of my images from a previous backup. I was hoping to save time by using this image optimizer, instead it cost me several hours of frustration and $20.

Just wanted to let others know my experience. I wasn’t able to find a number or email to contact with these issues. I wish I would have researched this better before trying it. Oh well.
