    Hey everyone,

I’m at a loss and really am shocked.

    You’ll see what’s going on here – https://gamemuse.net

I installed a plugin that was caching related (WP Optimum Pro) last night .. I swiftly uninstalled it as it stopped images from uploading.

I also deleted the plugin completely.

Can’t think of any other changes that were made on the site but not 100% sure as there are other admins on the site (I have asked in anyone else has changed anything but still waiting to hear back, probably going to say no though).

I have tried deactivating all plugins, reinstalling the theme and reinstalling wp core files.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?

    Thanks in advance,
    ADam

  • This seems to be a problem with the thumbnail image.
it is as if your thumbnail format had disappeared and the images are displayed at 100%.

Check in this direction on your WordPress dashboard in ‘Settings’ and ‘Media’

    Thanks for the fast response!

I had a look in the settings but they seem to be displaying the same as in this image –

Have you tried to leave the same options but to save the settings for make them refreshed ?

    Yes, I tried that.

Also flushed the caching plugin and tried other browsers.

Check the file Function.php in your theme folder.
Looking for a line of code that concerns post thumbnail.
Has the modification date changed ?

    I still can’t see anything.

But I have figured out the problem.

The plugin I used has a module that uploads all images to Smush.it and then downloads them from the server and puts it back in my site .. to save time.

I’ve just looked and all the featured images are HUGE!

When I check the media section it lists all images as 0x0 in size.

I’ve checked other threads about issues with Smush.it and some have said the same thing has happened to them but still no solutions :s
