all images missing from my wordpress site

  • Can any one help.
    yesterday, when i opened my homepage the images on the front page are just white boxes with a red cross.
    Also I have a pictures tab with members pic’s in it only 44 but they are sensative to owners.

    I have tried a rollback by my host to 3rd April, I have uploaded a couple of new one’s.
    The images are in the media file but i can only see the thumnail not the main pic.

    any help please.

  • Does your current theme use a script like timthumb for scaling images? If so, your hosts may have blocked access to it as a security measure.

    Not that I know of, when i set up the site I built the front page and uploaded 4 photos into it.
    I have disabled all pluggins, still no difference.
    I dont understand how it has just happened, my host is Bluehost and have been with them from the start.

    it is the intrepidity theme, never changed it.

    Try asking your hosts about this.
