    Hi!

I installed your plugin (v. 1.1.9) yesterday, and everything worked smoothely.

Today I updated the plugin to the new 1.2.0 version, and all the images on my site disappeared (both the images on the feature slider and all the images in all the posts, feature image and images in content).

When I deactivate the plugin, the images are back.

I have tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it via WP, but the problem still remains.

Any idea what the problem might be?

PS! I have curtrently deactivated the plugin while waiting for a solution.

    Best regards

Oh, and I forgot to mention:

I am using the child theme Awesome 2014 Version: 1.0 By Josh Pollock / Chris Knowles.

    Hello Raino,

First off thanks for reporting the issue.

A couple of things to try – I primarily work the plugin against the default theme so could I ask you to try it with the Twenty Fourteen active to see of the issue persists?

I also noticed that some images are off their intended location on some of the posts – is that by design of the child theme or is another plugin causing the issue?

On the second point if it is a plugin then a name will be of help to pin point the issue if it remains with the default theme active.

    Regards,
    Zulf

    Hi!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I tried to change back to the default theme, and it seems to have resolved the issue.

I will try and see if your plugin gives me the desired design features without using the child theme.

The images that are off their intended locations are so because I haven’t updated all the posts to fit the new theme yet. I just switched from 2011 to 2014 a few days ago… ??

Thanks for your help so far!

    No problem at all Raino.

Let me know how it goes and if there’s anything I can help with or if you need anything adjusted in the plugin ??

    I had the same problem.
I tracked it down to the fact that I had set the maximum height for images to 0 as I wanted to use images to varying ratios
This worked before but with the new version I needed to set it to 100000
    Hope this helps
Thanks for a great plug in

    Ah, brilliant!

    Thanks, olimax! ??

    Raino.

    Hello !

I am using the default theme and use your great plugin.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem like Raino & olimax by installing the last issue (1.2): all images disappeared on the customisation panel and lot of images’high were disturb on the main content and featured content.

I tried to re-install the plugin but nothing went back.

I am not a good programmer and I would want to come back to the old plugin version (1.1.9) wich worked successfully.
Can you give me a link to ?

Sorry for my bad english skill !

    Thanks

    vianlev:

In “Appearance” – “Customize“, go to the category “TwentyFourteen General Options“.

Scroll down to the option “Set Overall Content Image max-height (numbers only!) – maximum recomended is 572.” and set this to 100000.

If your problems have the same cause as with olimax and me, the images should now appear with original height/width ratio.

    Raino.

Many thanks Raino, it seams work now. But some troubles remain on many posts that I didn’t encouter before the plugin update.

Very amazing cars on your photoblog… !

    Bye
