all images are thumbnails

    Hi, i had to switch theme as my old was not compatible with php8. I think generatepress looks really good but i am super annoyed that all my images only are shown as thumbnails. is this a feature to force me to pay/a bug/ or something i have done wrong?

    Hi @forall999,

    Are you referring to the images inside posts? They seem to be added through a WordPress Image Block. If so, there should be an image size in the Block settings.

    Dear @fernandoazarcon2, indeed those are the images i am thinking of. The problem is that the block settings are ignored by the theme. if i switch to another theme they are restored to their proper sizes, but as soon as i switch back to generatepress they get back to thumbnails.

    That’s odd. The theme shouldn’t be affecting the Image sizes of Blocks. It’s all controlled by WordPress or another Block possibly. Take note as well that simply changing themes, can trigger/refresh other settings/cache as well not related to GP.

    In Settings > Media, are the sizes to your preference?

    Also, can you try disabling non-GP plugins to test?

    Thank you for the help. It was tablepress that caused the error tried to repair the database but then inactivated all plugings and restored them one by one to find the issue.
