What do you mean by “stopped working”? Getting error messages?

    Hello

I have the same problem. I had V3 key but I don’t have any captcha apearing.

    Thanks for your help.

    Same problem here.
reCaptcha stopped working. Then replaced with V3 keys – and then nothing could be sent = the error with orange border.

    I get the following message:

There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.

(you can test the forms I linked to if you want)

I don’t know if it has to do with reCaptcha V3. I had it for a while and it worked. I think reCaptcha V3 doesn’t appear, if I understood that correctly. But it may have to do with that, who knows.

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    I use the GeneratePress Theme.

I use the following plugins I use are:

    – All in one SEO Pack
    – bbPress
    – bbStyle Pack
    – Classic Editor
    – Code Snippets
    – Custom Login Page Customizer
    – Download Monitor
    – GeneratePress Premium (goes with the GP theme)
    – Maintenance
    – Quick Page/Post redirect plugin
    – WP-Statistics

I also have other plugins, but they are not activated.

Same here. Just updated to 5.1.1 and now all forms are reporting “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.” I had a week or so ago updated to recaptcha v3 and forms were working fine until the update this morning. How do you back out to the earlier version?

Same with me, now I get this error message when trying to submit a form – “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

Also why does the plugin still say it integrates with Google Captcha when no captcha is available in the form builder?

Charles, my understanding is that Google’s “reCAPTCHA v3 returns a score for each request without user friction. The score is based on interactions with your site and enables you to take an appropriate action for your site.” So, there is nothing visible, but the developer has to take the score and act on it. Google says 1.0 is a good interaction, and 0.0 is most likely a bot. No idea what CF7 uses as a threshold for good vs. bad (Google suggests 0.5 as a default threshold). V2 recaptcha also had an “invisible” option, but there was a least a recaptcha label on the page and a challenge popped up if needed, I believe. V3 doesn’t seem to have any visible indication that’s it’s working on the page.

Try switching theme to the default Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Seventeen and deactivating Code Snippets, GeneratePress Premium, and Maintenance.

    Same Issue here…

Tried Twenty Nineteen and disabled all other plugins.

Still get “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”
And messages sent to Spam in Flamingo

Still doesn’t work. ?? Just revert the update. What did the update bring anyway? The form was fine.

Does anyone else have an older version of the plugin?

    Me too. Stopped working.

Do not have reCAPTCHA enabled. Using WordPress / Contact Form 7 integration to Constant Contact.
