All Footnotes From All Posts Appearing On Each Post

    I just noticed that perhaps in the last update, have no clue, that suddenly footnotes from other posts were appearing in specific posts. On the page I linked to there are 3 footnotes registered. But at least 14 appear from other posts. This is happening throughout the site on all posts that were okay until now.

    The site is on SiteGround, and CDN is Bunny.net. I have no clue what is interfering here. The plugin worked fantastically until this started happening.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi @twg144, it looks like that stackable plugin you are using includes full articles as text body of the main article for whatever reason.

    Would you please try to lower the priority value of the footnotes plugin and tell me the results.

    Go to Footnotes Settings-> Options -> Plugin priority (or just use search field in the top right and type priority and click on the result drop-down) and set that to lets say 1

    Save the plugin settings and refresh the article page.

    Glad to hear! Unfortunately that is a good news / bad news situation … They (those plugin makers) do not suppose to do that this way … but i hope they will fix it soon.

    ?@sdobreff if you are 100% sure you can narrow it down to one or two plugins, then I can find a replacement and get rid of the trouble-makers. Just let me know exactly what plugin it is.

    No leave it as is for now – it’s working. If it pops up again we will think of something else – thanks for the example page btw.
