I have zero experience with online shops, taxes & shipping. After reading for over a month I want to stick with USPS & their services. So I’m using your plugin.

I’ve enabled 1st class, priority mail & PM flat rate – the padded envelope & small, med, large boxes. No matter which item I click on I see all of these flat rate items. How can I make it so that if you click on something that would only fit in a padded envelope then their padded envelope is all you’d see? Because they could click on small box because it’s cheaper but the item wouldn’t fit in it.

Also, if they bought a couple of things, I might need a medium box. How do I tell it such a thing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @katmerriwick,

USPS service is calculated real-time based on the products’ weight, shop location and delivery destination, so unfortunately all enabled services within this weight range will be displayed.

However, it is possible to set up custom boxes in USPS Live Rates PRO but since it is not a free plugin, if you have more questions about its functions, please contact us by submitting a ticket here.

    Kind regards,
    Ola

I’ve weighed everything. Yet all of the priority mail flat rate boxes show. Those aren’t custom boxes. They’re USPS’s free priority mail flat rate boxes.

So what you’re saying is unless I pay for the plugin I can’t offer USPS’s priority mail flat rate. Thank you for letting me know. ??

    Hi @katmerriwick,

Not exactly. You can display USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate in the free version. However, if you have more services checked (or disabled the services’ custom settings), all the available services will be displayed at checkout if the weight matches their range — not only Priority Mail Flat Rate

    Kind regards,

I want their services to show. But of their flat rate service – I don’t want all the possible packaging to show. If I’m looking at a baby romper that would only fit in a padded envelope then that’s all I should see. Not the small, medium & large boxes too. If there’s several things in the cart that would’ve fit in a padded envelope or small box individually but now require a medium or large box then I only want the medium or large box to show.

I even added classes as padded envelope, small box, medium box & large box & edited my products with one of these classes. It didn’t help.

I weighed everything in my own packaging. I could redo it in their packaging but I doubt that would help either.

I’m just going to have to Frankenstein it. Use your plugin for 1st class & priority mail & Woo’s out of the box flat rate for USPS’s flat rate.

    Hi @katmerriwick,

As I mentioned earlier, this shipping scenario can be configured. However, it can be done with our paid plugins, so if you have more questions about its functions, please contact us by submitting a ticket here.

    Kind regards,
    Ola
