    Hello,

I just updated to v. 3.9.6 and the shortcode mdocs cat=”All files” seems to have stopped stopped working. I changed nothing else and it was working fine before.

    How can I troubleshoot this?

    Thank you.
    Peter

that shouldn’t of happened, but to fix it just change the word “cat” to “folder”

Hi, tried it, unfortunately it did not change anything. Is there another syntax to restore the all files listing on a page?

the syntax is [mdocs folder=”All Files”] you an also you the button on the top of the post editor screen called “mDocs Add Folder”

sorry i made a mistake on the syntax, it is [mdocs folder=”all” hide_folder=”true” sort_value=”default” is_descending=”true”]

Very frustrating…still does not display all files and Box preview doesn’t work. Opening a file folder results in files pushed to the bottom of the folder tree, lucky I read about this in another post, otherwise I would have been looking for where the files went..

At this point I’m rolling back to v. 3.9.5 which worked perfectly!

I just released a version that fixes the preview problem. The short code works on all 12 machines I tested on. So I don’t know why it doesn’t work for you.

Growing pains are expected with an open source app. I’m one person and can’t test everything, give it a month or so and the issues will be fixed.

Hi, no worries, I kept trying and now it started to function as before…the buttons from the page editor are a nice touch!
I’m sorry about venting, but your plugin is at the core of my website, if it fails, the whole site’s functionality goes with it.

    Thanks for your efforts!

No worries, never stop reporting issues. I need you guys so I can’t try and fix every problem out there. Stay tuned for more changes to the folder, the next step is collapsing folder. ??
