  • Hi Don,

Both the URLs that you have mentioned seems to be valid feed URL and is working fine on my end.

Have you tried checking the ‘Force the feed’ checkbox while publishing Feed Source in back-end ?

    Regards
    Chirag

Same issue, on valid rss feeds…https://www.nauticlink.com/nieuwsdienst/

    @Ramzil

As I have explained above, please try checking the “Force feed” checkbox while publishing feeds.

Let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks for your responses!

I have the same problem as russclem, whether the “Force Feed” option is checked or not, it still returns:

Invalid feed URL – Double check the feed source URL setting above.

russclem’s issue is related to our premium add-ons, so that’s something that is dealt with through our premium support.

Don Lankley & Ramzii, are you still facing these issues? Are you using any of our premium add-ons or is it just with the core WP RSS Aggregator plugin?

Also, Don Lankley, can you give us an example of an RSS feed that isn’t working?

    Thanks.

I’d also like to note that I have also tried other RSS aggregators like WPeMatico and RSS Post Importer plugins, and none of the feeds I try on those work either. If anyone has any ideas as to why this is, please give some input. Thanks!

In that case, please go through the possible solutions on our Feed Items Not Importing page. If none of these solutions work and your cron looks fine too, we’ll see what can be done.

    Thanks.

Thanks! I have found the problem, and it is with the chron jobs. I am working on fixing it the article you provided and will get back when it is fixed. Thanks again!

Ok, I have fixed the cron, but I still get the response

Invalid feed URL – Double check the feed source URL

I went through every single process in on the pages you provided and still nothing seems to have fixed it.

Hi Don, glad to hear that the cron issues have been solved.

As for the Invalid feed URL error, is this happening for every single feed source? I’ve tested the 3 you provided above and all of them are working fine for me. If they don’t for you, it leads me to believe that it’s an issue with your current setup, so would you be able to test for any plugin/theme conflicts?

    Thread Starter Don Lankley

    (@don-lankley)

Yes. Every single feed I put in is valid, but is put as “invalid.” I have mentioned this before, but i have tried other aggregators and those all say that the feed is invalid as well.

I have tried disabling all my plugins, and also reenabling them one by one – doesn’t seem to do anything.

Hi Don, since the testing didn’t find any conflicts, and especially since this is happening with all RSS aggregator and not only ours, there is most probably something wrong with your site’s setup. It is not an issue related particularly to our plugin, and in fact we haven’t come across such an issue before, so there isn’t much else we can do from our side.
