    Hi,

Of late (since about 3-4 weeks ago, as far as user reports are concerned), any file downloaded through EDD appears to be broken. This applies to JPG, GIF or ZIP files. My latest test was this (using a standard JPG image):

    – Validate file integrity by first opening it in Paint
    – Enter title, 100×100 featured image, price (free for the purpose of the test), & upload the file itself
    – Proceed to the store to purchase this file. Click checkout.
    – Observe the file get downloaded.
    – Open the downloaded file in paint.
    – Message: “Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported.”

This is the same process I’ve been using for 2 years now–has something changed recently that might have broken this?

    Thanks,

    –Jaycee

Did anything change on your site recently?

It’s hard to say, this may have started much earlier than when it was first reported to me. Other than updating my site’s content (posts, comics, media, etc.), there have been no significant changes. (Do plugin updates count?)

Plugin updates do count because the issue could have been caused by one of those.

Can you go to Downloads > Tools > System Info and post the contents here?
