Unsure when error appeared, after reading other threads on this page I tried downgrading to 4.6.4 to no affect. Now back on latest 4.7.53.

    Install Details:
    OS: Windows Server
    HTTP Server: Apache 2
    WordPress Version: 5.5.11
    PHP Version: 7.3.11
    Download Monitor Version: 4.7.53

All Downloads, which were previously working report the following error. (WP-Debugging Enabled)

  • Hello @sdxdavek ,

Could you please let me know where are you serving your files from?

It fails whether I use local storage or a direct url to the wordpress media/content. (Latter works fine if bypassing download monitor) No external / third party storage is being used.

When using local storage folder path is [site root]\wp\wp-content\uploads\ or [site root]\shared\content\uploads\dlm_uploads\

Could you please go to dashboard > Downloads > Settings > Advanced > Miscellaneous > Other downloads path and enter there the [site root] and try again?

    Warmly,
    Razvan

This seems to have resolved it. Will update if I encounter any further snags.

Sure thing, thanks for the feedback ??

    Have a wonderful day!
    Razvan
