• Resolved glucking

Had calendar set up with multiple g calendar feeds going in on a sidebar widget. Worked fine until today when I went to home page and all content was replaced with the words Simple Calendar. I tried turning styles and scripts on and off and only plugging one calendar feed in but nothing worked. Eventually had to remove the widget. Using candidate theme currently. Anyone have any ideas on what’s happening here?

Do you have an example that you can show me so I can take a look?

How are you adding the calendar to the page? I see all the scripts loaded and such but everything is commented out. Do you maybe have a caching plugin or something that is being used?

I am using fastest cache. I am adding the calendar to the page with a side bar widget.

Are you using the widget that comes with the plugin or are you using some kind of text widget with a shortcode in it? After trying the always enqueue option did you clear your cache for the calendar and the website before checking to see if it worked?

I was using the widget that came with but I also I tried using short code in a text box. That just showed the calendar id with no content on the page. To my recollection I did clear the cache. I will try again when I have access to site backend again next week. Thank you.

I may not have cleared cache on calendar but just the site. Hoping that will be the fix.

Ok let me know how that goes.

    Thanks

Cleared cache on both, no luck. Tried using short-code instead of widget again, no luck. Thanks for trying, I’m sure there is something on my end im not thinking of that I may come across at some point.

Does your cache have an option that is minifying scripts like JavaScript and CSS files? You may want to try turning that off temporarily to see if that helps (if you do have it enabled).

Hmm, that I am not sure of actually. I re-installed the old version which works perfectly, also it enables me to add multiple feeds to the calendar, not sure if new version does but will check again. I appreciate your help and I will likely try updating it again and look into the Java/CSS issue when my more technically advanced web guy is here. Until then, thank you for assisting me.

Well here is this if you need and decide to start looking into the new version again:

Also if you stick with the old version you should check this out as well:
