ALL CONTENT import failure

  • I exported a 22MB XMLfile from my live site and tried to import into my development site. The result is that nothing happens.

    When I select the file, I can see from the tab on the browser (Firefox) that it is working. Next screen asks me to assing authors which I do. Then I select Download and import file attachments checkbox and click Submit.

    Nothing happens. The page says Import WordPress but I can see from the broswer tab that there is no activity underway.

    Any suggestions for a solution please? I am using the latest version of WordPress Importer.
