    Hey Antispam Bee Team,

I use your plugin on my site and I tested it myself, when the plugin is activated, comments made through the comment form appear as empty (in the comment area of WP just appears an * symbol). When the plugin is deactivated, everything works.

I use the default settings of the Antispam Bee Plugin. I use the commentform of the Divi Theme.

Can you help me with this?

    Thanks and best regards

    Salvatore

    Hi @selvservice

I took a look at your website and our honeypot is not correctly used, so you either disabled our plugin already or this is the problem.

It looks like you are using All-in-one-Security, which is also trying to add antispam features to the comment form. This is reported as conflicting in the past:
    https://github.com/pluginkollektiv/antispam-bee/issues/466

You can try to disable those features to hopefully solve the conflict or you can disable Antispam Bee and hope All-in-one-security is working for you.

If you try the first thing, it would be great to report back which setting was solving the issue! Thank in advance!

    Hi Torsten,

Thank you so much for your quick reply.

I had the Antispam Bee Plugin deactivated, when I wrote the first message.

I enabled the plugin again and disabled all the Comment relevant functions of All-in-one-security, but the error persists. Now I have even fully deactivated the All-in-one-security plugin and the error remains. Do you have any other ideas?

    Thanks and best regards

    Hi @selvservice

the Honeypot is now applied correctly. This should work now. But I see some errors in the browser console. There is a Javascript error coming from Divi Assistant and because of a typo in the folder name (playfiar-display -> playfair-display) the font is a 404.

Maybe the JS is interfering here or your comment rating plugin is conflicting with us …

If you provide a complete list of your active links, I can try to reproduce the problem and then hopefully how to fix it.

    Hi Torsten

Thanks for your reply and the hint with the typo. I fixed that, but that was not the cause of the problem. I also use fluentforms pro and that is inserting the checkbox to subscribe to the newsletter on the contact form. I also tried to deactivate that plugin, but the error still persists.

What do you mean with active links?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @selvservice

sorry, I meant active plugins, not active links …

The 404 is now solved, but the JS error (“TypeError: undefined has no properties”) is still there, coming from “/wp-content/plugins/divi-assistant/include/php/public/js/aria-label.min.js?ver=1.3.7:1”

    Good morning Torsten

Thank you so much for your help. I found the issue:

In the Divi Assistant Plugin -> “Accessibility Helper” I turned off this setting: “Add And Improve Screen Reader Classes And Roles

So now the conflict is resolved. Also All in one security is enabled again and it is working fine now.

    Thanks for your support.

    Best regards

And thank you very much for reporting back here, so that others can find this issue if they are facing the same issue. ??

    Marking as resolved now.
