All characters are converted to HTML entities

    I installed a brand new blog (new database) at https://www.ruggedtravels.com/. For some reason all the content that is retrieved from the database (the page title, the posts, the sidebar widgets) has the characters converted to HTML entities. I’ve looked at the content on the database (phpmyadmin) and the extra character entities are not there – it looks fine. I checked the character encoding and it seems fine as well. But if you view the page source you can see the entities – it’s also messing up the display somewhat.

    Any ideas?
