All Categories redirect to the homepage

  • My new blog was running fine, then this morning, all of the category links started redirecting to the main page.

    I noticed that the blog was running slow when I started working on it this morning.

    I’ve only made two changes since it was last working: I added a page, and I changed a category name. After I noticed that the categories were redirecting to the homepage, I changed the category name back to the previous one in case it was causing the problem, but the problem persists. I also deleted the new page, and that didn’t fix the problem.

    I have Yoast and tried deactivating it, but that did nothing.

    I’ve hunted online for a fix but have been unsuccessful. Any ideas about what could be causing this?

    I figured it out. It was a setting in Yoast.

    In case anyone else has the problem, here’s the solution. Go to advanced, and unclick “Redirect attachment URL’s to parent post URL.”
