All catagories showing But one

What do you mean by “missing”? Doesn’t show up in the sidebar? Are you sure it isn’t one of those that you excluded from displaying?

It was one that was in the old un-alphabatized setup, but is not showing in this one, Id didn’t purposely edit it out, as I recall it had some kind of connection to another catagory, I wonder if it was a subcatagory.
If that is the case, can I just remove the catagory and then add it back in and re-catagorize the posts again? Or is there an easy code fix ?

This is not resolved-
I was able to add (?php wp_list_cats (‘sort_column=name&optioncount=1&exclude=10, 15’) to the catagories area to put them in order, only now I find that I am missing one catagory.

I’m considering just deleting the missing catagory, then re-adding it and then recatagorizing the 15 posts to that area again….as I recall it had some kind of connection to another catagory, I wonder if it was a subcatagory.

First off, bunmping your posts is *not* a good idea here. It’s run entirely by volunteers, and patience here is a virtue. ??

As for your problem, you keep asking “I wonder if it’s a subcategory?” well – we don’t know. *You* can easily find out in your admin area. Go look. *Is* it a subcategory of either 10 or 15? or is it 10 or 15 itself?

You need to answer that question before anyone can proceed…

I’m assuming with the SLOW replying going on, since the forum’s being updated lastnight.. that they are hitting the Send Post two times, to rush up the posting.. I had to delete two or three other extra replies lastnight..

At first I didn’t understand what you meant, then I went into manage>catagories and found 10,15 were the ones missing. I removed the exclude from the above code and it has made all the difference
