    Hello Starbox support team,

    We are enjoying the Starbox plugin and have given you a very positive rating to help spread the word.

    I’ve created a page and have included a shortcode with multiple author account ids. We will be adding even more authors, over 30.

    I was wondering if there is a shorcode that would say something to the effect of id=”all, exept 2,8,20 and sort by lastname”

    1. I’d like our author page to list all authors.
    2. It would be great to exclude certain accounts.
    3. It makes more sense to sort by last name.

    Is there such a feature? If not in the free version, how about in the premium version?

    I know I could work around this by adding multiple shortcodes on a page. Not sure if that would have an affect on page load time.

    What do you think of this idea?

    Hi,

    We added in the last version the option to order the authors by name, email, login

    You can use the shortcode as [starbox id=”all” orderby=”name” order=”asc”]

    The orderby param can be: ‘post_count’, ‘display_name’, ‘name’, ‘user_login’, ‘login’, ‘user_nicename’, ‘nicename’, ‘user_email’, ’email’

    The order param can be: ‘asc’ or ‘desc’

    The sorting doesn’t seem to work anymore after the recent update(s).

    I’m using [starbox id=2,7 orderby=”name” order=”asc”] which used to work but now it just displays one author box.

    Edit: Works fine when I downgrade to 3.1.7.

    Hi,

    The sorting in shortcode is working on the premium version of the plugin. It wasn’t added in the free version.
    Make sure you have the premium version installed on your website.
