All 700 posts have disappeared

    Is there any reason that all the posts could have disappeared? It seems that the database is still active, since the banner ads and a “random quote” plugin are still functioning properly, and the backend works fine. Has anyone had a problem like this before? This is a very high-traffic site, and I need to get it back online asap.

    The odd thing is, all the posts are still available to me in the backend (to open and edit, etc), so it seems that the database is ok…? I’m not super experienced with the inner workings of PHP and MySQL…

    I can post a link to the template, if that would be helpful, but nothing changed in the template when this happened.

    I found that I had added a piece of bad code, apparently. I commented it out, and it didn’t fix anything. I had to actually delete the code to get the page to load properly again. Strange.
