Alive or does the author not read the questions?

I was just informed by email (in response to a support ticket) of the lack of Weberz support:

“We currently do not offer support for the 404 Redirected plugin. It has not been in active development for over two years, and we have no immediate plans to revisit the project.”

I suggested that they remove the plugin from the repository or at least make a statement that it is not supported.

Thanks for the information. So what is a alternative plugin?

I think with WP 4 they will make plugin ratings more relevant which can lead to people becoming aware which plugins are not being updated or supported.
