    Hi Duke,

    Amazing Plugin, loved it.

We have setup the plugin at [ redundant link removed ] and wanted to know a few things.

    • Can the Text Data limited to show information in a specific size like 500px by 400px table format instead of free size?
    • Why is there a huge delay in the numbers for India? We have crossed 1000 cases yesterday and its still reporting 983 & users are questioning if our data is correct, so any chance of getting faster data?
    • Can you move the Last update on: line to the bottom instead of being at the top of the data?
    • The world map does not show the map but just shows color bubbles – [ redundant link removed ]

Can you please update on the same?
    Regards
    Amit Bhawani

Update: Understood why the Map isn’t loading. Fixed that.

1 I made the sizes in percentage so they could adapt most environments, at that point, I could not fix the size in pixels. sorry.

2 The api gets data from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ , some countries didn’t publish their data soon enough, the worldmeters didn’t respond and update their data… these makes the delay for some countries.

3 At my point of view possibly not, but actually you can modify the code yourself, it’s in includes\class-corona-virus-data.php ??

4 After update, you should get a map key and fill it into options page to get map work.

Sorry for the trouble, thank you for using this plugin ??

Thanks, made the changes and it worked great.

As mentioned earlier regarding the data delay, is there any possibility to fetch data from covindia.com or covid19india.org who are probably fetching data quicker and updating them. If it’s a lot of effort, you can ignore but considering that timing is the key at the moment, its important to make sure we are able to give real time numbers.

PS: There was no trouble & you have done amazing job on the plugin

    Hi @amitbhawani

Actually it is quite strict for me to pick an API for coronavirus plugin, also for WordPress plugin review team.

    For me:

        Free
        Globally Fast
        Stable
        A Legal API

    For WordPress plugin review team:

API can provides legal documents like term of use, privacy policy
These documents have to be in readme.

Crawling data from other site is technically executable, but with lack of legal documents and improper behavior will cause this plugin removed from WordPress plugin directory.

So, it is better we stay with the current one. ??
