My posts on the front page used to be one column/post showing at a time. Now it looks like the posts are forced into two columns and the alignment is off. I use only basic elements of wordpress and the theme (not a programmer!) I have had others add posts but they are also not expert so I’m not sure what changed but I’d like to get the posts on the front page to be single (no columns) and listed from most recent. Please help. I’ll need very specific instructions in layman terms, please.

    Thank you,

  • Hi Edna,

It seems that site display default template with latest post. Please follow the instruction below to set up static home page as your required page.

Goto=> Appearance=> Customize=>Static front Page =>Front Page Display=> A Static Page (select this option)=>Front Page (Choose the page that you want to display as a home page.)

    Thanks
