• Hi every one,
I am using twenty eleven theme, when I minimize the browser all widgets overlap and become a mess, I want them to stay in their places, I am not looking for a responsive web I just want the content to be relative to the browser size!

To achieve this I tried to use % instead of pixels on margins and padding but the issue is still there !!
Could any one help me discover possible factors causing the issue?

  • Try to use the “generatepress” theme. It works perfectly.

    Hi,

Although I agree on using GeneratePress or OceanWP ( as they play well with Elementor ) there might be a simple solution/reason for what you are seeing.

You see this when minimizing the browser ( that happens to me too sometimes )

    1. refresh the page in its smaller display to see of it no longer overlaps
    2. view it on an actual smartphone or tablet

Usually this is only due to resizing the browser ( which ofcourse only simulates an actual mobile screen ).

On the other hand twenty eleven theme is ( as far as I know ) not responsive as it is an older theme. In that case that explains it all!

GeneratePress or OceanWp are great and responsive themes that work well with Elementor so I would strongly advice you to swich theme anyway!

    Hope this helps,
    Annie

    PS:

I am not looking for a responsive web I just want the content to be relative to the browser size!

If you want content to be realtive to your browser, you are looking for responsive web ( themes )! ??
