Aligning images with multiple lines of text

I’m trying to make a profile page for horseback riding instructors, and I want there to be a picture on the left and a blurb about the instructor is on the right. When I try to use the align=”alignleft” tag in the caption, it only aligns to the first line of text; any text after a line break goes under the image. Is there any way I can make the image aligned left of multiple paragraphs?

Nikki has been our riding and camp instructor since 2001. She creates a positive and fun atmosphere in every lesson, which makes learning easy. She competes in eventing, which led her to be in USEA's top 10 in our region in 2008.
