• Hi, I have Alfie Weather installed on my site’s Home page (www.hanliujuwu.com – bottom right of page). Recently, I changed the domain to this URL from the old one (www.myhome.dreamhosters.com) and although I have since updated the URLs across the site, the plugin only displays the title, but no elements beneath. It was working fine before, so I assume it must be something to do with the domain change, but am unsure how to proceed. I did install one plugin since that time, whose function was to help me update the URLs, but deactivating it seems not to make a difference. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

    Hi,

    Didi you also change servers?

Alfie WP Weather needs allow_url_fopen enabled on the server, in order to display.

    Can you confirm it’s enabled?

    Thanks.

Hello – no, I didn’t change servers. I’ve been on Dreamhost the whole time, so whatever settings affected my site then ought to be the same today. Just to be thorough though, I did look up ‘allow_url_fopen’ regarding Dreamhost and their documentation states it’s turned on by default, which would track with my being able to use Alfie Weather before my domain change. But certainly something is amiss.

    Hi,

Did you manage to get this working on your install?

    Hi,

I have almost the same problem, but i didn’t change anything (server or anything else). The plugin was working for a couple of months. Now it is only showing the title. You can find an example of a position of the pluging here.

Can you help me? I already deactivated the plugin, deleted the pluging en reinstalled it. It’s still not working.
