  • Email alerts for the core integrity checks panel are not implemented, this was intentional because the checks are executed using a 3party service controlled by WordPress itself, the reliability of their API goes in parallel with the reliability of the functionality provided by this tool.

However, it would be a good idea to include an opt-in option, this way if someone wants to get notifications for the integrity checks this option could set a scheduled tasks for that. I will discuss this with my co-workers to see if it is worth the effort to include that option.

Thanks for your reply Yorman. For me these kind of alerts are one of the most importants ones after hardening the security of WordPress.

WordFence does that too but I’ve had quite a few problems with that plugin for several sites while the Sucuri plugin just works fine without any issues.

Hello, I discussed this with my co-workers and they agreed to include that option that I mentioned, so I will start working on that; I will keep this ticket unresolved until I finish writing the code that will allow you to activate the notifications for the integrity checks.

1193679 – Added. Option to notify about core integrity checks.

    Thanks once again ??

    Hi, Yorman.

Is this in v 1.7.11? Or a future release? (I can’t find the option in 1.7.11.)

    Mike

This modification is not in version “1.7.11”, it will be publicly available in the next one. If you want to use the new code now you can download the development package from here [1] but you will have to install it manually [2].
