Alert Box showing after update

  • After updating to the latest version of CF7 (5.2), I am seeing the red alert box on the form before the form is submitted.

  • I have been able to solve it by cleaning the cache of Avada.
    Avada -> Theme Options -> Performance -> (last option) Reset the fusion caches.

    Same here, I rolled back the update until it’s fixed.

    For me the problem was a plugin called Bootstrap for Contact Form 7 by Felix Arntz. Disabling it cleared the issue. The plugin has not been updated for 2 years, so no surprise. I didn’t bother to go deeper into why it does this, as the plugin is not really necessary anyways, just need to add the classes manually.
