Albums sub-categories in menu

  • Hi everyone !

    I have a simple site with only photos albums/portfolio of live music. I created many categories that are ordered, and by example I have a main category “year” and many sub-category “2022”, “2021”, “2020”, … but when on my “album” page, I can only see the main categories, and not the sub-categories.

    How may I have a sub-menu to this main categories ?

    You can not have subcategories in the filter.

    They are only available when you enter parent category like here https://www.dwd-photography.com/genre/festival-live-music-band-concert-photography/

    Hi Air,

    Thanks a lot for your support. OK I understand. Maybe this option is available with Rifle Pro (not free) ? Or if not maybe I need to create a “megamenu”, and create all this sub-menu with link to correct filter ?

    Hey ??

    It is not available in Rife Pro, as it is just the limitation of WordPress and it would require an AJAX workaround.

    However, if you will construct your categories into submenu or mega menu it will be fine as long as you are fine with it ??
