Album Template

You will need to activate the albums extension first, and then you can create a new album, similar to how you create a gallery or post. The difference is that an album contains a number of galleries, rather than images.

You insert an album into a page with a shortcode.

Just following up on this as I’m not sure your reply @bradvin answered the OPs question. It seems your answer is related to creating an album in the WP admin.

The OPs question, which I am also interested in, is about creating a custom template for an album. I have used the “Build Your Own” option to create a custom gallery template but would like to so the same for an album.

How do we go about creating a custom template for an Album the same as we can for a gallery.

I’m trying to create an album template. What needs to be done to do this?

Additional follow-up: I think I modified as much as I can and have the template mostly initialized; it shows up in the menu and on the front end at least. I’m currently running into a problem getting the js, etc into the head of the page the way it would work for a gallery template.
If you can point me in the right direction here, I wouldn’t mind helping out @zerogravity through the initial set-up once everything is working.
