    Hi there,

first of all, a massive thank you for this plugin! I mean, I’ve never seen a photo album so configurable as this one, with such few bugs. Awesome!

Now, the issue or lack of knowledge:

I have posted the shortcode [wppa type=”album” album=”1″][/wppa] into a post and it displays all the photos inside the album. So far so good.

Now, what I want to do is, when a user clicks one of the photos, to open a full size image with a next and previous photo arrows instead of going to a different page to the slideshow. Is this possible? If yes, how do I do it?

    Many thanks in advance!

Open Table VI-B in the Photo Albums -> Settings admin page. Select in line 2: ‘the fulssize photo in a slideshow’.

If you want it in a special page, select it in the next selection box.
    The page should contain: [wppa][/wppa]

    Hi,
I just uploaded your plug-in but am having trouble getting the codes to show up in “page” format. I checked the widget area and they all show up there…but isn’t there a way to get a gallery of thumbnails to show up on a page? All I want is the capability to click on a thumbnail (reference letters) and then be able to read the full letter at a readable, larger size – like about 650 or 700 pica. Then
a keystroke to return back to the thumbnail gallery near the point where I left off. I have about 97 thumbnails to display.
I don’t want or need any slideshow actions…although a “top ten” hihglights in the widget sidebar piqued my curiosity when I saw that this program can do that!

Please let me know how to get this plugin running in the page format. I’m sort of new to WordPress and this is my first website.
My website page location is murderproductions/wordpress/referrals. Thanks for your help.

You will find the required info here:

Read the front article and the pages under Shortcodes and scripts

I’ve spent a bit of time reading the front article and the page about shortcodes. I have the TinyMCE toolbar installed, and your plugin ICON shows up on the toolbar. But when I click on it and look for a “PAGE THUMBNAIL GALLERY” or anything remotely close to it, there isn’t any.

After continuing on researching all the instructions, it does appear that all of the functionality of this plugin only seems to apply to SIDE WIDGETS. I need to show a page full of thumbnails that can be invidually clicked on to blow-up into a readable size, then back down again to the page of thumbnails.
I have gone through all of the instructional pages and your forum, but quite frankly, nothing tells me about a thumbnail gallery on a “page”. I was really hoping I could get this plugin to suit my needs before having to off digging into the internet for some other program. I have a deadline, and not more than a couple of days left.
Thanks for whatever additional help you can offer!

I’m wondering if your plugin works with Internet Explorer 9?
That might explain why I’m not seeing certain commands or options with this particular plugin.
Well, I’ve run out of time and I will need to get my thumbnails project done today one way or the other.

    Create a page.

    Enter as content:

    %%wppa%% %%album=35%%

    OR:

    [wppa type=”album” album=”35″][/wppa]

if 35 is the album id.

    OR:

In TinyMce: select Type of Gallery display: The sub-albums and/or thumbnails in an album

Sorry that i could not make it easyer than this.
