Hi. I have uploaded a cover on both the Series settings and in the feed-specific settings. However, the album artwork is not showing in the player. Do you know why?

Hi @mortenhede looks like the image is showing in the player now. Is that the Series image or the featured image for the episode? Here is the hierarchy of how/when images are shown in the player:

Episode featured image -> Series feed image -> default feed image -> Placeholder image

The first one we see that is perfectly square and between 1400x1400px and 3000x3000px in size will be displayed in the player.

Will mark this as Resolved since I’m seeing the image there but if that’s not the image you’re expecting to see please reply here and let us know.

Hi Craig. Thanks for your respond.

The image shown was the default feed cover, but it was supposed to show the series cover. I checked the size of my series cover, and it was (exactly) 2500×2500 px, so it should appear according to your description.

However, I just uploaded a new version of the same photo in 1400×1400 as series cover, as that is the size of my default feed cover, and now it works fine.

So the problem is solved, but it doesn’t make much sense, does it? ??

That is strange. How large is the file (in MB) of the original 2500x2500px series image? Shouldn’t matter but curious for our troubleshooting purposes.

Oh, I deleted the old file from my library, so I can’t tell. But I’m sure it was less than 0,5 MB. I have other files, similar to the one I deleted, and the same size in pixels, and they’re around 150 KB…

    Hello @mortenhede,

Sometimes the cover image can be quite “sticky” try uploading a brand new file making sure that it is absolutely square, 1400 X 1400 px, and 500k or under. Be sure the new file you upload has a different file name. In some instances changing the extension will from .jpg to .png will help. Click Save on the Feed Details screen and then be sure to clear your site cache and browser cache. This should enable you to see the image, but let us know if that does not work.
