Akismet isnt killing the spam

  • Its really frustrating, Akismet just dont want to learn!
    I still get around 20 spam approval/delete mail each day.
    And mostly its the same IP# or text.

    That was just a feedback.

  • I haven’t had that experience. In general, Akismet works pretty well for me.

    That being said, one thing you might consider is also installing the Bad Behavior plugin. It can run alongside of Akismet quite well. https://www.ioerror.us/software/bad-behavior/

    I think that its strange too that Akismet dont work at 100% for me. I got 4 blogs bound to the same account and at 3 of the blogs i have no spam. But my most popular blog slips some of the spam through.

    I looked at the spam numbers and Akismet recorded 1863 spam cought the last 15 days. thats seems like a huge number to me.

    Akismet has never blocked a single non-spam for me, nor has it ever let in a spam….
