Akismet Ham – but comments disabled?

    The comments on my website are disabled, but it says I have 106 HAM in the last 60 days. What is it, since it cannot be comments?

    Akismet checks more than only comments. Some of the common contact form plugins use Akismet as well as some sharing plugins. For example, if running Akismet, Jetpack will have Akismet check when someone uses the “Share by E-mail” feature.

    Akismet also checks pingbacks, in case you left the related option on: “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new articles”, in wp-admin/options-discussion.php
