Akismet blocking genuine comments???

I’ve been having a problem lately when I try posting comments on sites. It seems like Akismet is detecting my email address as spam! (no idea why) I’ve been using it almost everywhere without problems previously but it just suddenly stopped working. I even tried posting on my own blog and it was detected as spam? Whats happening?
