• Hi
Ajax search results are not accurate.
One of my products name’s for example “X Y Z”. If I type “X Z” in your plugin’s search form, it shows me other products first and shows this product as the sixth product (in search results page)
But if I search “X Z” in default woocommerce search form (which isn’t ajax and not related to this plugin), it shows me that “X Y Z” product at first.
I want this plugin to show standard woocommerce search results. (In both ajax mode and also when user press “enter” key)
    Can you please help me
    Thanks.

    Hi Shayan,

Could you give me the names of the other product that are showing before the “X Y Z” product? I would like to reproduce the problem.

    Regards,
    Marta

    Hi
Yes, the real name of the products are: (In this plugin’s ajax search results)

    • ?? ?? ??? ???? 30 ???? ????
    • ??? ??? ???? ???? 75 ???? ????
    • ??? ?? ???? ?? ???? ????
    • ??? ??? ??? ???? ???? 15 ???? ????
    • ??????? ??? ??? 101 SPF25 ???? 15 ???? ????
    • ??????? ??? ??? 102 SPF25 ???? 15 ???? ????
    • ??? ??????? C ???? 30 ???? ????
    • ??? ????? ????? ???? 150 ???? ????
    • ??? ?? ????? ???? SPF60 ???? 40 ???? ????
    • ???? ???????? ?????? ???? ??? 20????
    • ?? ??? ??? ????? ???? 100 ???? ????
    • ?????? ??? ???? ???? ???? 50 ???? ????
    • ?????? ?? ????? ??? ?? +SPF50 ???? 50 ???? ????
    • ?????? ???? ?????? ???? 200 ???? ????
    • ?????? ??? ????? ???? 30 ???? ????
    • ??? ????? ????? ???? ??? SPF30 ???? 50 ???? ????
    • ?? ??? ??? ????? ??? ??? ??? 4 ?? 1 ?? ???? 20 ???? ????

The last one is that one we whant it to show.
    <br>

And in normal Woocommerce search results, we can see this:

    • ?? ??? ??? ????? ??? ??? ??? 4 ?? 1 ?? ???? 20 ???? ????
    • ????? ??????? ??????? 30 ????
    • ???? ???????? ?????? ???? ??? 20????
    • ?????? ?? ????? ??? ?? +SPF50 ???? 50 ???? ????

      What I search is:
      4 ?? 1 ????

If it is possible, I want this plugin’s ajax search shows the results from the normal Woocommerce search. Please help me with a function code or somthing else.
      Thank you very much.

    Hi Shayan,

Thanks for the data. FiboSearch uses its own searching mechanism and it’s not possible to make it work like the default WooCommerce search.

Our mechanism grants extra points in the following cases:
    1. Bonus for an exact match of product name
    2. Bonus for keywords position in product name
    3. Bonus for keywords position in product SKU

In rare cases the results may be less relevant than the WooCommerce’s, but we’re not able to change it.

    Regards,
    Marta

    Hi Marta, Okay.
So, could you please suggest another way to solve this problem?
because the order of the results is incorrect, and it’s important for us. This can affect our sales.
    Thanks

    Hi Shayan,

Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about it. Perhaps you can try out other AJAX search plugins.

    Hi @martadella Thanks
I like this plugin but it has this bug / this problem. Please, check and fix it.

If I buy the premium plugin, can you fix it for me?

    Thanks.

    Hi Shayan,

We can’t promise that the Premium plugin will work as you expect and we won’t be able to make the changes.

But you may try out the Premium plugin and if it doesn’t work for you, you will get full refund. Please check out our pricing plans: https://fibosearch.com/pricing/.

    Regards,
    Marta
