Ajax search lite breaks mobile user experience IOS

    Hello, I am using Ajax Search Lite and on desktops & android mobile it works great, but on IOS mobile/tablet the touch functionality keeps freezing…

    I am using the Editor Blocks Theme. Deactivating Ajax Search Lite plugin stops the freezing problem.

    Would you have any solutions or workarounds?

    Hi,

    I will look into this on our test servers, but I am not sure if I can replicate this problem though.
    Please let me know if there are any errors on the error console, or any specific way of replicating the problem. Thank you very much!

    Hi, I am not a professional developer and have no idea on how to replicate the error or visualise it on an error console on these mobile devices. I just know that the problem is there on both my daughter’s iPhone 6 and my own iPad mini2.
    If I deactivate all plugins except Ajax Search Lite, the problem is still there.
    If I activate everything except Ajax Search Lite, the problem is not there.
    I would be very thankful if you could look into this!

    Hi Henriette,

    Can you please try changing these options: https://i.imgur.com/4zILAVq.png

    Then make sure to clear all layers of site cache, as well as the mobile browser cache, to make sure it propagates. It might do the trick.
