Hello. First of all thanks for the plugin ! I’m starting to play around with it and it seems great!

There is just one issue I have at the moment with the ajax results.

I’m using a sticky menu and would love to have the ajax results appear right under that menu bar and stick to hit when I scroll down / up.
At the moment when I have ajax result displayed and I scroll / up down, the ajax box with the results stays where it is instead of following the scroll, so it’s not looking good.

I’m guessing it might be because the “top” position of?“.is-ajax-search-result” is relative to the window and not the menu it’s attached to. I’ve tried?changing “.is-ajax-search-result” position property but it didn’t?help.

    Any?suggestions on how?to fix this?
    Thanks !

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

This is a rare condition & custom requirement so you have to achieve this by developing custom javascript code.

    Best regards,

Thanks for your answer. I was thinking more people were using this plugin with a sticky menu and that could have been regular issue ! I’ll look into what i can do then
    thanks

I will consider this to be implemented in the future version of the plugin but I don’t have an exact timeline for it.

Hello Vinob. Sorry for the late answer I was without computer for a few days.

Thanks a lot for implementing this ! It works great except when I have the results displayed and then scroll up to the top of my website, the results box is hidden under the menu ( i’ve edited the z-index in my css so it’s under the menu, in the original code it would go over the menu but the issue would be the same : it doesn’t stay stuck at the bottom of the menu bar)

As I am using a top bar I think the issue is coming from this as the problem appears only when it’s displayed on the screen (i’ve also tried to disable the topbar and problem disapears)

I believe the value of top position of .is-ajax-search-result is dynamic and changes when scrolling, but when I’m at the top of the page it turns to 0px, which causes the problem.

You can see the problem on the page link in my initial post.

    Thanks again for your help

I visited your shared page URL to troubleshoot the issue but it is displaying an error “403 Forbidden” and the page is not accessible.

Could you please make sure that the page is accessible so that I can troubleshoot it?

This is weird, I can access the page either on a regular page on Chrome, in private session too or also on my phone not connected to my wifi so it’s not related to my internet box IP (I’m using 4G)

Here is the link again https://wstdev.com/clients/qualitycontrolhq

Let me know if it doesn’t work i’ll try to update settings from / desactivate my Security plugin that might cause the 403 error

    Thanks

I have just tried to activate my VPN, use an indian server and in fact it’s not possible to access to it. It works when connected to other asian servers though (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia etc)

I have contacted my hosting provider to know why this happens an fix the issue. In the meantime if you have a VPN maybe you can try to connect to a european server and you should be able to access it.

So sorry for this extra issue and thanks for your time.
I’ll post here as soon as my hosting provider will have it fixed
