Ajax refresh w/o reloading iFrame in WP powered Facebook Page

Hi,

I’m prototyping a Shoutcast/Wordpress powered Facebook based radio station. see it here: https://on.fb.me/kcBAaI

Users will need to be able to switch tabs w/o reloading the player (which is iframe’d in). here’s the high level structure of the page.

i’m very new to ajax but am pretty sure this is simple. Can someone point me in the right direction?
