• I just purchased NextGen Plus, but to be honest I’m finding it difficult to use. Maybe it’s me, but here are a few questions that perhaps someone can clear up…

    1) Why does Basic Thumbnails have an option for Ajax Pagination, but Pro Thumbnail Grid does not? What’s the difference between the two? As far as I can see, Pro is worse than Basic.

    2) What is the point of the Manage Galleries page? I know it allows me to add a new gallery, but it doesn’t allow me to add images to it. I have to go to Add Gallery/Images for that. But if I want to come back later and see what images are in the gallery, and maybe add some more, there’s nowhere I can do that. What I mean is, there’s nowhere I can view of list of existing images and add more. Everything seems to be split over multiple pages. There should be an ‘Add Images’ button on the individual gallery page within Manage Galleries.

    3) Is there any way that I can just have a dropdown on the Post edit screen for my client to select a Gallery, and not have them presented with the full options in a popup each time?

Basically, the whole experience is cumbersome and confusing to use. And if I’m having trouble as the developer, there’s no way I can pass the site over to my non-tech-savvy client.

I’m new to NGG so I’m going to assume I’m missing some key steps here, hence this post.

    Thanks,
    John
